Roundtable discussion with one of the main topics being “Problem of merchant shipping development and training of marine specialists in the RoK” had taken place in Astana on May 30, 2018. The event was attended by senior officials from the State Transport Committee, Transport Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as by representatives of educational institutions, leading shipping companies and operators of major offshore oils and gas projects.

Sea Fastening Removal contract update

CONTRACT WITH SEMARCO FOR PROVISION OF LQB SHKOTOV
On the 22 November 2017 SemArco LLP, a joint venture between Semurg Invest (Kazakhstan) and Archirodon (Greece), and Caspian Offshore Construction LLP have signed a Letter of Intent for provision of the Living Quarter Barge Shkotov to support SemArco CaTRo canal maintenance operation in the North Caspian. Duration of the contract shall be three years plus one year in Charterer’s option.
